The year 2022 marks the 125th anniversary of the birth of Oldřich Menhart. We believe that this is a unique opportunity to present high-quality revitalizations of his iconic typefaces. 

In December, Professor Jan Solpera celebrated an incredible 80 years. The klauzura assignment of the winter semester was therefore clear – Jan Solpera 80.

Welcome to Jaroslav Benda’s improvised library. Famous czech designer and typographer who became a source of inspiration for not only his peers and students, but also for the generations of artists who followed. If we were to set out on a path back along the trail of important Czech typographers whose work shows respect for the legacy of authors from previous generations, the path would lead us back to Jaroslav Benda, logically and without many turns. Exhibition is open from 7 June till 15 July 2017 UM Gallery, Prague.
