Welcome to Jaroslav Benda’s improvised library. Famous czech designer and typographer who became a source of inspiration for not only his peers and students, but also for the generations of artists who followed. If we were to set out on a path back along the trail of important Czech typographers whose work shows respect for the legacy of authors from previous generations, the path would lead us back to Jaroslav Benda, logically and without many turns. Exhibition is open from 7 June till 15 July 2017 UM Gallery, Prague.

Drinking beer is cool! – one semestral assignment in the studio of Type design and typography at Prague’s UMPRUM academy. 1 studio brewery with 11 brand new beers.

We attended Away Days conference at Berlin Type School hosted by UdK TypoLabor. Students of Type design and typography studio from Prague’s UMPRUM academy exhibited their diploma works. It was a great time. Huge thanks to Jenny Baese and Dan Reynolds for inviting us and for the great atmosphere! See you next year hopefully!
