Font in use: Studiolo Robotico R.U.R.

The exhibition's title refers to a cabinet designed for scientific and speculative research (studiolo), but also to the futuristic theater play "R.U.R. – Rossum's Universal Robots from 1921. This – almost 100-year-old technical utopia about the production of manpower is the work of writer Karel Čapek; after the invention of the literary neology "robot" the author's brother  writer and painter Josef Čapek studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague from 1904–1910.
